SLANE, with the assistance of the Sri Lankan community in New England, has established a Tsunami Fund to collect funds to help the victims in Sri Lanka.

Interested individuals and organizations can contribute to our fund in numerous ways.

Initially funds will be routed through organizations such as the Red Cross, Oxfam and other reputable and recognized non-profit, non-governmental organizations who are already on the ground providing services to the victims.

Thereafter funds will be utilized for reconstruction efforts, long term medical needs and other appropriate areas of the recovery process and the funds will be channeled to reputed local non-profit, non-governmental organizations. For more information, please see How money is spent.
